Daili 1.8.0 · 30 September 2026

Apple Watch: daili is on your wrist, on iPhone with an Apple Watch — see what's next, tick off the shopping list, your to-dos and today's habits with Minzi; add a shopping item or a quick note by voice; your next event on the watch face and in the Smart Stack; tonight's dinner and the next birthday too.
Calendar: assign an event to one or more family members — only they get its reminders and notifications. Filter the calendar by person, children too.
Lists: a list can be private — switch on "Only me" and only you see it and everything in it.
To-dos: a single task can be private — tap the lock in the add bar or switch on "Private task". Only you see it, and nobody gets a notification. If someone deletes a shared list, your private tasks in it are kept.
Family: admins can give the family a photo.
Calendar: Philippine public holidays.
Sign-in & family: with an iCloud address, Forgot password and email invites now tell you what to do when Apple blocks our email.

Daili 1.7.0 · 28 September 2026

Notes: save quick notes and links (with a preview), keep them private or share them with the whole family or picked people, and find them again with search, tags and pins. Open them from the new Home tile or Quick add → Note.
Notes: share a link or text from any app to daili in two taps; write a note from the "Quick note" widget, the iPhone Action Button or Siri, or Android's Quick Settings tile — even offline, it is sent when you are back online.
Calendar: fill a new event from a photo — snap a school letter or invitation and Daili picks out the dates. The photo is read once and not stored.
Recipes: save a recipe from a photo (cookbook page, handwritten card, screenshot) or from a cooking video — tap + → From a YouTube video.
Meals: let Daili plan your dinners — tap the sparkle on the Meal plan, pick a few filters, and get a suggestion for every open evening.
AI features: before Daili first reads a photo, a video or your meal wishes with Google's AI, it asks you — switch it off any time in Settings.
Widgets: tick off to-dos and shopping items on your home screen, Habits with Minzi, Next up, a birthday countdown, tonight's dinner, Quick add, per-widget settings, and lock-screen widgets on iPhone.
Help: a Help center with short guides and pictures in all 25 languages (the ? on the main screens or Settings → Help), a tip now and then, and a "Get started" list for new families.
Sign-up: pick your picture and check your name right after signing up. Sign in and Sign up show the daili logo without the square background.
Account: change your email address in the app; if the confirmation email can't be delivered, Daili tells you; "Didn't get the email?" gets you personal help. When you delete your account you can tell us why (optional), and you can restore a pending deletion right from the sign-in screen.
Account: deleting your account asks you to type "delete" instead of your password; the confirmation link now lasts 3 days; Resend waits a minute.
Calendar: editing a repeating event — make your changes first, then choose what they apply to after Save.
Joining a family: a code that no longer works says why; your current invite code shows under "Invite member" and you can get a new one any time.
Home: the week card shows just your next event, calm and still.
Recipes: recipe photos load faster and stay on the phone.
Documents: your daili documents are part of your phone's own backup.

Daili 1.6.0 · 22 September 2026

Habits: build family habits together with Minzi, the family cat — tick habits, keep streaks with rest days, fill Minzi's energy bar and send her on trips; she sends a postcard home from each one. Minzi lives in her room like a real cat: she walks around, washes, stretches, naps and reacts when you tap her. Counters can carry a unit ("3 of 8 glasses"). Find it on the new Habits tile.
Family: you can be in up to 5 families or groups with one account — a grandparents' group, the sports club, the school class. Switch, create or join from the Home screen (tap the name under your greeting) or from the Family screen; notifications open the right family or group. Join a family by scanning its invite QR code — tap "Scan QR code" on the join screen.
Home: long-press a tile to rearrange your Home — drag tiles around, tap × to remove one, + to bring it back. Settings → Home screen does the same.
Profile: 36 new avatars to choose from — 66 in total.
Settings: you can now sign up for the daili newsletter — about one email a month with what's new and a family tip. It's off unless you switch it on.
Home: you can add an event for the selected day straight from the week card and the week popup with the new "+" button. Every feature tile now has its own colour.
Home: with the week pinned, more of your feature tiles now peek out below it, and the pull-up arrow is bigger.
Meal plan: tap anywhere on a day's row to add a meal, not only the + button.
Notifications: tapping a family-activity notification now opens the event, the list or the recipe it is about, instead of the activity list.
Notifications: the permission dialog now names everything it reminds you about, not only events.
Family: you can join a family with an invite code even if your email address is not verified yet.

Daili 1.5.0 · 17 September 2026

Calendar: your events now stay visible when you have no internet — you can look, but not change anything until you're back online.
Shopping: a list can be grouped by category (fruit & veg, bakery, dairy, …) in the order of your own supermarket. New items get their category from their name; tap an item to change it — and you can rename categories, hide them or add up to 30 of your own.
To-dos: you can now give a task to several people at once — a couple, or a parent and a child.
Lists: a new family now starts with three ready-made lists — Groceries, Drugstore and Family to-dos — named in your own language. Rename or delete them like any other list.
Lists: an empty list now offers a row of everyday items in your language — tap one to add it, so you never start from a blank page. They are the things families in your country really buy, not a translation of an English list.
Documents and Photos: the first time you open them you now find ready-made empty folders (Important papers, Insurance, School, Car, Receipts) and albums (Family, Kids, Holidays), named in your language.
App: Daili now tells you when a newer version is in the store, and shows you what changed the first time you open it after an update.
Lists: copy a list as text or share it — handy for pasting into your notes app.
Home: the pinned calendar card now fills the screen — swipe up or tap the arrow to see your tiles.
Lists: the ⋯ menu is now a clear sheet with icons and switches; the edit-item sheet keeps Save in reach.

Daili 1.4.0 · 9 September 2026

Language: Daili now speaks 25 languages — Indonesian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese have joined. Pick yours under Settings → Language.
Calendar: everyone in the family can now edit or delete a shared event, not only the person who created it. Private events stay yours alone.
Widgets: a new To-dos widget shows what is due today, what is overdue and what is coming up — and the calendar widget now fits up to 10 entries, with a large size on iPhone.
To-dos: give a task a category, group a list by due date, person or category, and see everything assigned to you in the Mine tab.
To-dos: due dates are now a day by default — add a time only if you need one — and Today / Tomorrow chips under the add bar set the day while you type.
Lists: move an item to another list from its edit sheet, and tap Undo if it was the wrong one.
Recipes: paste a recipe's text and Daili sorts it into ingredients and steps for you. Online search finds more results, remembers your recent searches and offers ideas to start with.
Home: pin the week view to your Home screen — today's events stay listed right under the greeting, and tapping the week card opens that popup.
Calendar: on Android phones with a navigation bar, the event sheet's Edit and Delete buttons are no longer hidden behind it.

Daili 1.3.0 · 4 September 2026

Calendar: sort your family's events into categories — Family, Work, School, Sport, Health and Free time to start with, and you can add your own (up to 30), rename them, recolour them or delete them. Every event takes its colour from its category, and you can filter the calendar by person and by category.
Calendar: your phone's own calendars now show in Daili — private to you, nothing uploaded, and you pick which ones appear.
Calendar: attach to-dos, shopping items, documents and photos to an event, even before you save it.
Family: invite family with a QR code or a share link, and invite links now open straight in the app.
Settings: choose 24-hour or 12-hour time, and dates now follow your phone's country as well as its language.
Calendar: the event screens are tidier — Location and Notes are normal fields now, and the event details window lists everything as clear rows.
Sign-in: Google sign-in on Android works again for everyone who installed Daili from the Play Store.
